Clean your bamboo utensils if possible right after use. They must not be covered in leftovers or food particles for too long. Use a mild soap and the soft side of the sponge to clean the bamboo ware. Use warm water for rinsing and dry it immediately using a clean dry cloth.

Don’t soak them too long in water or any liquid since bamboo is porous and water absorption often leads to cracks and molds. It’s best to let your bamboo ware dry in the air.

Bamboo utensils must not be exposed to extreme temperatures. This is why they must not be placed in the fridge, heated in the oven, washed in the dishwasher. They are also not recommended to be used for hot meals and drinks.

If you see stains in your bamboo utensils all you need is baking soda, which not only cleans it, removes the stain, but deodorizes it.
